SNOC BKL MINI-MARATHON COURSES: 2008

 

This year there is one Big Party Foodstop.  The courses will loop through and your mini-passport will get marked to help you keep track of how far you go.  The Party Foodstop will stay open until 12:30PM.  Chili feed at finish will happen from 11AM to 1:30PM.

 

1.  5K  Lollypop/Novice:  PINK MM PASSPORT

          Go out and up Timberlane.  Left and downhill on Bruce Trail.  Hit Party Foodstop and get your passport marked.  Head back on the Burt Trail.  Left up Crosscut 2.  Take a right onto Classic.  Left towards junction of Timberlane.  Then right onto Timberlane and return to Touring Center.

 

2.  15K: Two Figure 8 Loops: PURPLE MM PASSPORT

       Go out and up Timberlane.  Left and downhill on Bruce Trail.  Hit Party Foodstop for the 1st time and get your passport marked.  

          Take a right up the Burt Trail and around Old Bear.  Right down the Bruce Trail to Party Foodstop for the 2nd time and get your passport marked. 

          Take a left down the Burt Trail.  Left up Crosscut 2.  Take a right onto Classic.  Left to junction of Timberlane.  Another left back up Timberlane.  Left and downhill on the Bruce Trail and go to Party Foodstop for the 3rd time.

          Take a right up the Burt Trail and around again on Old Bear.  Right down the Bruce Trail to hit the Party Foodstop for the 4th and last time.  Left to head back on the Burt Trail.  Left up Crosscut 2.  Take a right onto Classic.  Left to junction of Timberlane.  Then right onto Timberlane and return to Touring Center.

 

3.  25K:    BLUE MM PASSPORT

(If weather conditions do not permit as described, will do figure 8 Loop three times.)

          Go out and up Timberlane.  Left and downhill on Bruce Trail.  Hit Party Foodstop for the 1st time and get your passport marked. 

          Take a right up the Burt Trail and around Old Bear.  Right down the Bruce Trail to Party Foodstop for the 2nd time and get your passport marked.

          Go straight up the Connector.  Take a left on the Haul Road.  Go by snackstop for the first time.  Take a right up Oslo.  Take a right onto Bobcat (stay right and go downhill).  Left on the Haul Road at snackstop and be sure to collect your Trapp pin.  Right down Ranch Camp Trail to Party Foodstop for the 3rd time. 

          Take a left up the Burt Trail and around again on Old Bear.  Right down the Bruce Trail to hit the Party Foodstop for the 4th and last time.  Left to head back on the Burt Trail.  Left up Crosscut 2.  Take a right onto Classic.  Left to junction of Timberlane.  Then right onto Timberlane and return to Touring Center.
